This project was a collaboration with VillageMD, which is a healthcare network that provides value-based care for patients. As a current consultant, I am working on simulating scenarios to understand the dynamic relationship between (1) patients with different care needs, (2) healthcare operations, such as clinician allocation, and (3) the economic portfolio of the healthcare provider. The goal is to use data science techniques to optimize care for each patient and ensure that the value-based care practice runs smoothly and efficiently.

As a consultant, I created “Keep-Me-Engaged,” a Streamlit web app that provides customized recommendations to increase user engagement for over 30,000 educational online courses. To do this, I used Python summarize 1.6 million data points of website, company, and learner-specific features to model learner engagement using random forest regression. The web app is expected to be implemented as part of Thought Industries’ Premium Services.

The Erdős Institute — People Insights
Columbus, OH
I designed and taught a workshop series on conducting research in industry, including market research, user experience research, and consumer insights research. The workshops were attended by ~30 individuals. Because of the success of this pilot version, I will transform the workshops into a multi-week bootcamp (expected Spring 2024).
